This volcano quiz is aimed at pupils in the 4th-7th grade and it covers the following areas of the topic, volcanoes:
- definition of key terms, 
- marking and naming an example studied on a map
- labelling the parts of a volcano
- identifying the different types of volcano
- describing a volcanic eruption
- drawing a labelled diagram explaining how volcanoes are formed
- knowing about basic plate tectonics and different plate boundaries
- The benefits of living near to volcanoes
It is child friendly and comes complete with a mark scheme.

    Who are we? 

    A group of teachers with one thing in common - we all have a passion for the subject of Geography. Through collecting great examples of bringing the subject alive, and sharing them on this website, we aim to develop a love for the subject of Geography in children around the world. 

    What can I use?
    The vast majority of resources that we create are shared freely to help develop the teaching and learning of geography. They are free to use for educational purposes. They are not to be resold.
